25+ years of integration engineering. National lab roots — drivers, data acquisition, and a 36-node cluster for the PHENIX and MiniBooNE experiments at Los Alamos National Laboratory and Fermilab. Eight years at Devvio, Lead Software Engineer through VP Infrastructure, building blockchain payment infrastructure that had to be right. Before that, principal architect of a 24/7 scientific detection platform at Decision Sciences International — 250+ embedded Linux devices, 80+ compute cores, concept through sustained operation. Collaborated with NVIDIA and IBM on GPU integration for OpenPower. Currently CTO of SettleVia (semantic settlement infrastructure for cross-rail payments).

Bitwise Engineering is the consulting practice through which I and a small team of senior engineers take on integration work for AI/ML startups, peer engineering firms, and small-to-mid businesses with operations to harden.
